We are ready and willing to work with any school in greater London and nearby.

We provide teachers to work in secondary schools and FE Colleges.  We provide teachers on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. 

Keeping it simple

Our aim is to make working with us as simple as possible.  We have set out to minimise paperwork and bureaucracy.  Our keywords are flexibility and availability.

Can we work together?

Before sending any teachers to you, we would like you to get a good impression of us and our services.  This is so that we can properly understand your needs, gain a fair impression of the educational challenges with which you are dealing, and for you to decide whether you want to deal with us.  We are always glad to visit your school and meet you. 

Making it formal

If we both want to go further, we would enter into a framework agreement with you.  This outlines the general terms and conditions which apply when we do business together.  You can read a recent version of our terms and conditions by clicking here, but please note that these are updated from time to time.

Once we have a framework agreement in place, then we can send you teachers as soon and as often as you wish.  In practice this is often done very quickly on the morning of the placement.  We will send you a simple confirmation to cover the placement for the day.  This may be faxed or e-mailed to you.  Our teachers carry Renaissance identification with them, as well as timesheets they will ask you to sign each week.

Single point of contact

In order to make this process easy and straightforward, we will allocate one contact point at Renaissance who is responsible for our work with you.  We would also ask you to tell us who we should deal with at the school.

Whenever the point of contact is not available, ask to speak to the Managing Director.

Help us to help you

Successful supply work depends upon the professional expertise of the teacher, matching a clearly understood set of needs at the school.  This means that the school and Renaissance must communicate effectively together.  We will work hard to make this a success, and we ask you to tell us immediately if you have any problems at all with our service.  Sending you good teachers is what Renaissance is all about.  We need your help to make this succeed.

Paying on time

As you may know, supply teachers are paid weekly or fortnightly by agencies such as Renaissance.  Our teachers like to get paid promptly, so we pay ours weekly!  This means that cashflow is extremely important to us.

• our framework agreement provides for weekly invoicing from us

• It is a condition of our agreement that invoices are paid within seven days, and we have a legal right to add interest if we are not paid on time

Prompt payment is an essential part of offering you the best rates for excellent teachers.

If you like our teachers that much…

We often find that schools like our teachers and want them to transfer to full-time employment.  In many cases, our teachers are doing supply work because it suits their lifestyle and availability.  However, if it happens that a teacher is willing to accept an offer of full-time employment, Renaissance Education will be happy to facilitate this, subject to the payment of an introductory fee in accordance with our standard terms and conditions.
